Kami ("Coach K") played collegiate basketball at West Texas A&M and Angelo State University, resulting in many awards and school records. She also served as the Graduate Assistant Coach while obtaining her Master’s degree at ASU. Coach K currently serves as the head girls basketball coach at Cedar Park High School where she led the team to a UIL Class 5A State Semifinal appearance in 2024 and a Regional Finalist finish in 2025. Before leading the program, she served as an assistant coach during Cedar Park’s back-to-back UIL Class 5A state championships in 2021 and 2022. In 2024, she was named the Texas Girls Coaches Association 5A-6A Coach of the Year and the Austin Area Girls Coach of the Year.

Dr. Carlos Daniel had a stellar basketball career at Washington State University and was inducted into the Pac-12 Basketball Hall of Honor in 2017. He also was a perennial Pac-10 All-Academic pick. After graduating from WSU he played professionally overseas and in the CBA. He later went on to a successful career in strength and conditioning at Northern Colorado, SMU, Texas, UConn, Vanderbilt and the the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs.
